You’ve probably got questions…
It depends on your bike and your budget. If you have an older bike, then the base AShyft version is probably best. If your bike is newer and can provide the right data, AShyft Pro provides a richer range of shift features. For more information, check out AShyft Features.
We’ve installed and tested AShyft on a range of bikes. It’s performing really well and our trial users love it!
The next step is to expand our test and validation program further before we officially launch. Between January and April 2026 we will be providing 10-15 riders access to AShyft ‘beta’ at a discounted price, in return for their feedback on its performance. Once we’re happy with the results, we will formally launch the product.
If you would like to be a participate, you can register here. If you’d like to be one of the first to buy a production version of AShyft, you can pre-order here on a first-come, first-served basis.
We expect to launch the production version of AShyft around mid-2026, after completion of the pilot program.
Production will ramp up over the second half of 2026. If you would like to be among the first to buy AShyft, you can join the pre-order list on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis.
We know riders are generally good with a spanner, but AShyft is a sophisticated system and your safety is paramount to us. So for now, safety trumps DIY.
For the pilot program, all systems will be installed by us and regularly monitored.
At this stage we will be recommending that all production systems are installed by a qualified technician. We’re working on options to provide a network of qualified installers. Watch this space…
Absolutely. We designed AShyft to be completely reversible.
You can take it off at any time and return your ride to stock configuration. For example, if you want to sell your bike, you can take it off the old one and fit it to your new bike.
At launch AShyft will only be available for purchase online, initially for residents of Australia. If you would like to be among the first to buy AShyft, you can join the pre-order list on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis.
We will add other regions over time, probably from early 2027.
AShyft is designed to work on anything with a constant mesh sequential gearbox. This includes racing and sport bikes, although finding space to install the components can be a bit harder! If you are interested contact us and we can discuss what’s possible.
AShyft is designed to operate any constant mesh, sequential shifting gearbox. If your ATV / UTV / quad bike / go-kart has one of these gearboxes, it can probably be installed. If you are interested contact us and we can discuss what’s possible.
We’ll release official pricing before launch of the production version of AShyft. But as a guide, we’re confident AShyft will offer much better value for money than its competitors, based on price and feature-set.
Every bike is different, so designing a system that can be installed on any bike poses some challenges…
We’ll focus on developing a short list of kits for launch that we will cover the most popular bikes in Australia, as well as offering a universal installation kit that a skilled technician can use to fit AShyft to (almost) any bike.
We’re currently in planning, so if you would like to place a vote for any particular bike, register here.
We’re engineers – of course we’ll add things!
Our first priority will be to expand the range of installation kits so AShyft can be installed on as many bikes as possible. But we definitely have a few new ideas in the pipeline…
